Chairman’s Awards

Chairman’s Awards are BAE Systems’ global recognition program, designed to celebrate outstanding achievements in technology, customer service, operational excellence, and sustainability. Culminating in the prestigious Gold winners ceremony, the awards are a vital part of how the company inspires their people to go above and beyond. But in 2022, after the pandemic prevented celebrations for two years, they needed to host a memorable event to remind its people of the importance of recognising inspiring work. 

We were asked to design a high-end, keepsake brochure to accompany the event, that celebrated not only the 2022 Gold nominees, but also provided those who did not get the chance to attend during covid a moment to shine. Through our ‘touch of gold’ concept, we created a glossy 30-page booklet – each spread crafted around symbolic object representing the nomination story coloured in gold, and a stunning bifold design to celebrate the nominees of 2020 and 2021.
