ION Trading, a global automated trading platform, helps people and businesses solve problems more quickly and efficiently through automation. With a growing portfolio of technologies, including trading tools, auto negotiation, risk management and pricing engines, ION needed a brand that reflected the diverse benefits of automation and the company’s culture of continuous innovation.

We created an automated identity system using an algorithm to create patterns of ions in endless variations. Through this principle of continuous adaption, we then delivered a communication platform based on the suffix -ion (Imagination. Ambition. Vision.) giving ION access to the 3480 words in the English language to help reinforce their story.
